Overview

Primary customer/merchant point of contact for Lowe’s truck and jobsite storage business. This will include identifying and developing areas of sales growth and profit enhancement over the short, medium and long term with these key businesses.

Responsibilities

• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
• Along with the Director of Sales, Lowe’s Safe Access and SVP Retail Sales, develop goals and action plans to ensure achievement of the market-share objective and profitability plans of key accounts.
• Implement marketing plans and programs, both short and long range to ensure achievement of financial objectives and product and services innovations.
• Develop market intelligence to capitalize on business opportunities capitalized as they occur and effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
• Lead and collaborate in the preparation of customer presentations including the annual and strategic business and marketing plans.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers creating a collaborative selling environment that ensures achievement of the market-share objective and profitability plans.
• Provide appropriate training and instruction on products, selling functions, and administration to Customers, Manufacturers Rep Agencies, and internal personnel.
• Interacts with other business professionals in the organization.
• Supports corporate initiatives and projects as necessary.
• Conduct periodic meetings and audits to determine effectiveness of competitive efforts and degree of achievement of business performance objectives.
• As a bench-building role within WernerCo, this person will be given additional special projects outside of their primary focus area to create learning opportunities for the individual across multiple channels and offer cross-functional support across retail.

 

Qualifications

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of business experience with increasing responsibilities in planning, marketing, and sales in the Home Center channel
• Demonstrated experience and execution in achievement of market share growth and profitability improvement for a $10M+ divisional business unit.
